Privacy Policy

Your files never leave your device. This policy explains the limited data PDFZippy does handle.

1. Files you process

PDFZippy's working tools run 100% in your browser using open-source PDF engines. When you merge, split, compress, convert or edit a file, it is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, store or access your documents.

2. Information we collect

We collect very little:

• Basic technical logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard web-request data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages, used for security and reliability. These logs are retained for a limited time.
• Contact messages: if you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.
• Account data: PDFZippy currently requires no account. If accounts are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated first.

3. Cookies

PDFZippy uses a small number of cookies and similar storage:

• Strictly necessary: remembering your theme (light/dark) preference on your device.
• Analytics (if enabled): privacy-friendly, aggregated statistics about which pages are visited, to improve the site. No cross-site tracking profiles are built.
• Usage counts: we count anonymous tool events (e.g. how many times the Merge tool was used each day) to understand which tools are popular. These counts contain no file names, file contents, IP addresses or personal data of any kind.
• Advertising (if enabled): see section 4.

4. Advertising

PDFZippy may show ads to keep the tools free. If we use Google AdSense or a similar network, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

5. Third-party services

• Cloudflare — website hosting, security and content delivery.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

6. Data security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because your files never leave your device, there is no document database that could leak.

7. Children's privacy

PDFZippy is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves (for example when accounts or new features launch). The "Last updated" date below will change, and significant changes will be noted here.
